We are starting the process of getting our manufacturing done here in the UK rather using fulfillment centres overseas. (We had to start the brand off this way to see if the brand would work in the first place which keeps initial costs down, which alot of brands do. We started at the end of 2024). Now that the brand has grown at a good rate, which we are so grateful for, we are going to be getting any new products that we bring out to be FULLY MADE IN BRITAIN! For our current products this is going to be a time and money consuming process over time to get them to now be made in the UK also. So we won't be fully British made company for the time being, but our vision is to be fully British made...but again any new products we bring out WILL be made in Britain and we will highlight what has been made here in Britain. We are focusing on our new products first and then overtime will work on our current products.
Starting to get items made here in the UK instead of overseas is great for the British economy and British manufacturing in general, it also gives us the opportunity to visit the manufacturers and see the progress of production. And build a great relationship with them....and the best of all you cant beat good British quality!
It will also eventually mean that we will distribute everything from our main hub here in the UK (rather than fulfillment centres), which will improve delivery times alot. (Instead of 3-10 days, it will be 2-4 days for delivery). It also gives us the ability to be with the products every step of the way until it reaches your door which let's us be directly in control of the quality. I will say that the quality from using fulfillment centres to start us off has been great and you can rest assured your still getting great products.
Our first product we are looking to be manufactured in the UK is a waterproof jacket so stay tuned on the process.
The next products in the pipeline are gilets, more quarter zips, different types of jackets. But again this won't happen overnight or too soon as alot of work goes in to designing, sampling and the cost of it all.
